Short Black Cafe

Short Black Cafe was first established in 2011 by restaurant owners, Frank Capuzzi and Angelo Lomonaco. The cafe's success is built on the foundations of friendly service, quality home style authentic Italian cuisine and great value for money. Short Black Cafe is also open for dinner seven days a week and makes for a fabulous and intimate venue to share great cuisine with family and friends. Our gnocchi, fettuccine, lasagne and tiramisu are made daily on site by Franks mother Clara, whom at age 5, began learning recipes originating from the 19th Century that had been handed down over the generations. The menu is classic Italian however, we also offer modern & contemporary alternatives, including our \"ever popular\" wood fired oven. We pride our menu on local fresh fresh produce, whether it is freshly made pasta, ocean fresh oysters, or fish fresh from the market daily. Short Black is fully licensed with wines sourced from Italy to local Australian regions. Our staff are also happy to shake things up, with our own signature cocktails.... Short Black Cafe is the ideal spot for a breakfast, luch or dinner while shopping or before a movie. We are the venue for all special occasions whether it is a date for two or a group function. Short Black Cafe will always cater to your required needs. We have an easily accessible venue, located at 761-767 Burke Road Camberwell, with ample parking.
