The Goonawarra offers both low and high care accommodation. Goonawarra Nursing Home accommodates 80 high care residents, Goonawarra Gardens accommodates 40 low care residents, of which 20 are secure Dementia residents.

Goonawarra offers residents spacious bedrooms with shared ensuites, built-in wardrobes and garden views. There is also a spa bath for residents' to use.

Each bedroom is thermostatically controlled and provides outlets for private televisions. The facility is built in the Federation style, surrounded by wide verandas and landscaped gardens.

Goonawarra maintains individual resident comfort, security and privacy.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with a private ensuite, comprising toilet, hand basin and shower. There has been a strong emphasis on safety factors such as wide access, hand-rails and Nurse call communications.

Each room has been tastefully decorated with soft furnishings and has an attractive setting of table and chairs for in-room meals, relaxing or entertaining visitors. We encourage our resident's individuality and as such, each room reflects the individual style and creativity of the resident.

Goonawarra offers a limited number of adjoining rooms for couples accommodation. The adjoining rooms can be accessed via the common door, thereby creating a large open plan room. This provides couples with lifestyle choices and flexibility.

The surrounding lawns, gardens and internal courtyards, provide an inviting and secure environment for the exclusive use for residents and their guests.
