Southern Cross Care (SA & NT) Lourdes Valley

Lourdes Valley at Myrtle Bank has a long history of care. Founded by the Little Sisters of the Poor, the home for aged men and women opened in 1912.

Offering a continuum of care and support services in one location, Lourdes Valley is home to 128 residents; 58 in low care at The Lodge and 70 in high care in the Nursing Home.

Registered and Enrolled Nurses, supported by Personal Care Assistants, are available 24 hours a day to provide individualised, contemporary nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes. Nursing staff have special skills in dementia and palliative care, promoting best practice for individuals and their families requiring these services.

Multi denominational pastoral care services and a beautiful and historic chapel are available while a team of lifestyle professionals assist residents to maintain their individual interests, develop new interests and maintain their previous community involvement.
