Pyramid Hill Frail Aged Hostel

Alcheringa Group are a community governed not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing excellence in care and lifestyle options for elderly folk. Alcheringa Group are Commonwealth Government approved provider of residential care. Currently operating three residential care facilities Swan Hill St. Arnaud and Pyramid Hill. Alcheringa Group care facilities provide permanent and respite care accommodation for elderly citizens who due to personal reasons may no longer be able to reside within their home. Alcheringa Group care facilities are accredited and certified aged care homes which operate within the regulatory requirements of the Aged Care Act 1997 and all other governing legislation and professional standards of practice. Alcheringa Group care facilities are able to provide low and high levels of care and will within the current parameters support and care for residents as their level of dependency increases. Alcheringa residential care facility is located within the precinct of Tower Hill Estate of Swan Hill with close proximity to the main shopping and business centre nearby community groups and other professional allied health services. Comprising of 74 apartments including 2 respite rooms. The facility has 2 purpose designed residential areas one of which is known as Honeybee Lodge specifically designed to accommodate folk with advance stages of dementia. Coates residential care facility is located in St. Arnaud on the same precinct as the East Wimmera Hospital in St. Arnaud and is in close proximity to the main business area. Comprising of 27 apartments including respite care. Day community respite care is also provided. Pyramid Hill residential care facility comprises of 23 apartments including one respite. Attached to the facility is a doctors surgery and other consulting rooms. Medical services are also available to the community several days per week.
