Situated at Boyne Island Queensland just 20 minutes south of the thriving hub of Gladstone you will find our Aged Care Facility. Set on a large acreage block just metres from the Boyne River in a very tranquil well maintained environment surrounded by beautiful gardens paths and grassed areas. Bindaree Lodge is a place to call home for our residents. Gladstone is easily accessible by air (serviced by Qantas and Virgin) and rail (on the daily tilt train service). Bus transport is available between Gladstone and Boyne Island and taxis are also available. Medical facilities are also close by (three medical centres in Boyne Island/Tannum Sands) and both a public and private hospital situated in Gladstone as well.Although we offer ageing in place sometimes transfer is required from our facility to higher care. Gladstone houses a number of additional Aged Care Facilities offering high care beds. The Bindaree Care Centre a haven to elders to enjoy greater health and happiness during their precious time with us. Bindaree Lodge is a community based not-for-profit organisation. The 40 bed Commonwealth Government Subsidised Aged Care Facility is situated in the mild year round warmth of Boyne Island Bindaree is perched near the vast Boyne River and the endless beaches of Tannum Sands. Sundale Bindaree offers 24/7 residential care for permanent as well as respite care.
