Yamaroo Hostel

Our 46 bed Low Care Hostel provides individual rooms along with an abundance of sitting rooms creating a home-like environment that we feel is second to none. All rooms overlook our extensive gardens with many rooms having views of the nearby mountain ranges.Our hostel encourages independence with support from trained personal care workers nurses and our local medical practices. Our activities program encourages residents to continue to pursue hobbies and interests whilst providing the opportunity to develop new skills. Being a short distance to the Yackandandah township enables residents to pop down for a coffee or some shopping.We have local medical services visiting regularly. High Care Our 21 bed high care unit provides a safe environment for our more frail residents. Our staff are skilled in providing the more complex care that many of our high care residents require. Our activities program is modified to cater for the individual needs of our high care residents. The sensory garden provides an environment that is bright and aromatic. Meandering pathways encourage residents to explore the different garden features. Raised garden beds enable the residents to grow a productive vegetable garden.
