Churches of Christ Care Kolan Gardens Aged Care Services at Gin Gin is nestled on a hill next to the hospital and associated services. The low care facility, which opened in 2005, provides 20 residents with excellent accommodation in an intimate and homelike environment.
Accommodation facilities
Residents at Kolan Gardens each have their own private bedroom with ensuite facilities. Rooms are fresh and new with a built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, wall heater and an emergency call system. Residents have the opportunity to provide their own furnishings and electrical items. Pleasantly furnished lounges and dining rooms provide restful and comfortable areas for residents to relax and enjoy their days.

The staff at Kolan Gardens have a strong commitment not only to provide physical care, but to also enrich the lives of residents. Social, emotional and spiritual needs are met wherever possible. The following facilities and services are provided:
Chaplaincy support
Planned social and recreational activities such as concerts, games, bus outings, barbeques, craft and gentle exercise classes
Theme days with staff ‘dressing up' to entertain the residents
Regular trips to the library and local shopping centre.
Ten Community Care Packages are also provided by Kolan Gardens to the local community. The two motor vehicles utilised for the community packages are available for residents to be transported to appointments and other local commitments.
