St Basil's Homes Community Aged Care Packages

Aged Care at Home is supported by Community aged Care packages for low care (CACPs) & Extended Aged Care packages for high care (EACH) are individually planned and coordinated packages of care tailored to help frail older Australians remain living in their own homes. They are funded by the Australian Government to provide for the complex care needs of older people.

What help is available?

Packages are very flexible and are designed to help with individual care needs. The types of services that may be provided as part of these packages depending on the level of care include:

• personal care
• social support
• transport to appointments
• home help
• meal preparation; and
• gardening
• registered nursing care
• care by an allied health professional such as physiotherapy, podiatrist etc.
• Assistance with oxygen and/or enteral feeding
